KCST Radio is the Florence area’s only daily local media. As a market exclusive FM station, programming emphasizes local news, sports, and information. The station features a hybrid music format combining soft adult contemporary, oldies, and cross-over country for a broad format that appeals to a large audience of adults 25+

FM Promotions

KCST Radio's focus is on community involvement. The station organizes and/or sponsors a majority of the events in our area including annual promotions such as the Rhododendron Festival, Fall Festival, Florence Homeshow, Fourth of July celebration, Radio Auction, Valentine's Day, Athelete of the Week, and The Great Pumpkin Giveaway.

FM Special Programming

KCST Radio has a full time news department with six newscasts each weekday and a monthly news and commentary program “Community Forum.” The station is an ABC affiliate with national news at the top of every hour and Paul Harvey four times daily. KCST Radio’s sports department airs live coverage of high school sports including football, basketball and baseball. The station is also an afilliate of the Oregon Sports Network broadcasting Oregon Duck football and basketball.
